Meeting of EnCLOD transnational partners in Debrecen

On 2 and 3 April in Debrecen, Hungary, a meeting of the transnational partners of the EnCLOD project took place, attended by our colleagues Hrudkay, Palčák and Jaroš.

The meeting was officially opened by Lajos Barcsa, Vice Mayor of Debrecen, who welcomed the partners and highlighted the development of the city and the impact of the EnCLOD project on local growth. We were also welcomed by the CEO of DKV, Dr. Szabolcs Tóth.

Throughout the event we had the pleasure of hearing from key stakeholders including:

🔹 Gyula Horváth (HungaroMet Zrt.) on the DIMOP PLUS project, Development of an environmental monitoring system using a deployed data collection system and climate data repository and service environment
🔹 Gyula Dézsi (EDC Debrecen, Centre for Urban and Economic Development) on air quality management through open data and the Internet of Things (HungAIRy Project – LIFE IP)
🔹 Zoltán Pintér (DVÜ Kft. ) on building the future of IoT with LoRaWAN in Debrecen

Special agenda item: a historic tram ride through the beautiful streets of Debrecen – Hungary’s second largest city – followed by a cordial and engaging dinner with all partners.

The second day was dedicated to the evaluation of the project’s progress and next steps, with the partners presenting the results and achievements so far.
